Program 2024

The WBF Team worked hard to set up this program for you! Workshops and boulders for all levels from beginners to advanced, with a focus on the female body. Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless their gender.

Availability of the workshop is based on a first-come, first-served basis when retrieving your festival ticket. It is not mandatory to participate in any workshops. You can also join the bouldering, music, food and drinks on the festival site the whole day long.

Yoga for Climbers with Ava
Enhance flexibility, balance, mental focus, prevent injuries, boost performance, and connect with nature.

Warming-up and cooling-down routines with Cynthia
Interactive session to practice and refine warm-up and cool-down routines under guidance.

Boulder discovery with Fabi #1 Energetic climber and BKM board member, enthusiastically shares bouldering’s beauty and fun with everyone.

Introduction into setting boulders with Joy and Rox (10:00 – 12:00) Beginner workshop on setting: learn route setting, using holds, safe attachment, and maintaining a safe work area.

11:30 – 12:30 Workshops series #2

Pilates for climbers with Whitney A series of exercises specifically designed to enhance flexibility, strength, and body awareness. All crucial elements for bouldering.

Mindful Movement – Feldenkrais with Iryna A gentle movement practice to refine your body awareness, flexibility, and coordination with ease to relieve tension and elevate physical performance.

Boulder discovery with Fabi #2 Energetic climber and BKM board member, enthusiastically shares bouldering’s beauty and fun with everyone.

13:30 – 14:30 Workshop series #3

Body work-out with Melissa A full body work-out routine with the focus on the female body.

Reiki with Aline Workshop on Reiki history and principles: explore relaxation, reduce inflammation, enhance well-being, balance chakras, and enjoy soothing meditation.

Boulder techniques with Aref #1 Known from his training’s at BKL and group GAL. He loves to share his climbing experiences and contribute to the local climbing scene.

Improving your strenght with Tom and Ingmar Challenge yourself and find out how strong you are. Various strength challenges to test yourself and compete with your friends await you.

15:00 – 16:00 Workshop series #4

Breast cancer awareness with Europa Donna Luxembourg Learn the essential steps to prevent breast cancer and recognize warning signs. Practice self-examination using an on-site breast model. Listen to the testimony of a woman who has gone through this experience.

Sport and the menstrual cycle Everyone’s menstrual cycle is different and it can affect your performance and may inform how you schedule your training plan.

16:30 – 17:30 Workshop series #5

Fear and stress in climbing, psychology of our sport with Tijana Presentation on mental training in climbing: address fear, frustration, motivation, and stress engagement. Topics include challenge levels, self-awareness, and climbing’s impact on motivation.

Moonboard and spray wall with Tabitha Get introduced to the two most efficient training tools a climber can wish for.

17:30 – 20:00 DJ, free bouldering, sozializing, snacks & drinks

DJ CNSLR Transcending genre and time, CNSLR floats heavily on moods and atmosphere whilst always keeping an eye on strong melodies.
