A look back at the people, workshops and activities that made WBF Luxembourg 2026 what it was.
On 27 September, we came together at BoulderForest for a day of climbing, movement, learning, creativity and community.
A huge thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge, energy and enthusiasm with us. 💜

Yoga for climbers with Ava Alavi
Ava guided participants through a yoga session designed with climbers in mind, exploring flexibility, balance and mental focus — with time to move, breathe and reconnect with the body.
Introduction into setting with Katharina Eckert
What happens behind the boulders? Katharina introduced participants to the basics of route setting — from tools and safety equipment to materials, movement and the creative process behind building a climb.

Boulder technique with Maria Zschorn
Maria explored the fundamentals of efficient bouldering technique through practical exercises and climbing drills. Participants worked on positioning, balance, footwork and movement efficiency — learning how to climb smarter and save energy.
Understanding & preventing injuries while climbing with Cynthia Neiertz
Cynthia took us through the basics of climbing injuries, from acute trauma to overload. Participants explored risk factors, early warning signs and practical ways to keep climbing sustainably.

Myth or reality? Women, safety & asylum with Passerell
In this workshop, Passerell invited participants to look beyond common assumptions about domestic and gender-based violence and asylum. The session explored the gap between theory and practice in Luxembourg and created space for questions and discussion.
Nutricion & Health with Stephanie Schartz
At the Nutrition & Health stand, dietitian Stephanie(ANDL) shared practical insights into balanced nutrition and invited participants to test their knowledge with the Nutrition Pyramid Quiz.
